White Rice is one of the most common side dishes in the world. However, not every bowl of white rice tastes the same. Add a little oil, salt & love to your rice cooker and we can say goodbye to tasteless white rice & hello to mama's soft & flavorful rice.
Let's make a fresh batch of delicious white rice!
Ingredients:
1 cup - White Rice
2 cups - Water
1 tbsp - Salt
1 tbsp Corn or Canola Oil
Cooking Directions:
Add water to Caldero (Dutch Oven)
Add Salt & Oil to water. Stir until mixed. (Add more salt if needed)
Boil water over high heat.
Once boiling, add rice and set heat to Low setting level 1-2
Cook rice on low heat for 20minutes. Make sure it is covered.
When water has been absorbed by rice, stir the rice and place cover back on the caldero for 3 minutes.
Done. Ready to serve!
