White Rice - The kind our kids love

White Rice is one of the most common side dishes in the world. However, not every bowl of white rice tastes the same. Add a little oil, salt & love to your rice cooker and we can say goodbye to tasteless white rice & hello to mama's soft & flavorful rice.

Let's make a fresh batch of delicious white rice!


  • 1 cup - White Rice

  • 2 cups - Water

  • 1 tbsp - Salt

  • 1 tbsp Corn or Canola Oil

Cooking Directions:

  1. Add water to Caldero (Dutch Oven)

  2. Add Salt & Oil to water. Stir until mixed. (Add more salt if needed)

  3. Boil water over high heat.

  4. Once boiling, add rice and set heat to Low setting level 1-2

  5. Cook rice on low heat for 20minutes. Make sure it is covered.

  6. When water has been absorbed by rice, stir the rice and place cover back on the caldero for 3 minutes.

  7. Done. Ready to serve!
